Transforming Public Space Into Play Places

Choice Properties has partnered with Vibe Arts to transform parking lots and sidewalks across the GTA into lively community hubs, filled with art, music, and movement.

We’re popping up in a different neighbourhood each weekend in July. There will be arts and crafts activities, music and dance workshops, live performances, and other ways to play – all for free and designed for all ages.

Launch Parties

Don’t miss our Launch Parties for the chance to score some limited edition swag (for the first 150 guests), learn more about Lots of Play, and enjoy free button making, drumming and line dancing classes.

The Launch Party events are taking place at Golden Mile on Sunday, July 6 at 11:30 AM and Roncesvalles on Saturday, July 19 at 11:30 AM.

Afro-Caribbean dance artist with 30+ years’ experience. Co-founder of D’LYFE Dance Co. and creative lead at GoLeft Creatives.

Andre Gibson

Award-winning beatboxer and educator from Mississauga. Inspiring youth worldwide with original sounds and community workshops.

Beny Esguerra

Colombian-born, Toronto-based artist and educator blending spoken word, hip hop, and traditional instruments. A JUNO-nominated musician and recipient of the Ontario Arts Educator Award, Beny’s work champions culture, justice, and community.

Azadeh Pirazimian

Iranian-Canadian artist exploring migration and memory through performance, installation, and material-based art.

Dj Lewy V

Toronto-based DJ known for smooth blends and unforgettable vibes, from club nights to community events. @djlewyv

Frannie Potts

Frannie Potts is a Malvern-born muralist and workshop facilitator known for her whimsical, surreal style. With over 30 murals across the GTA, her vibrant public art explores the powerful, symbiotic relationship between creativity and community.

Glenn Marais

Juno-nominated blues musician and educator blending funk, rock, and soul. Founder of Music in Mind and author of Dance with Fear.

Glo Romy

BIG GLO is a dancer and founder of BOSSY, empowering women in street dance with free workshops and creative community events.

Harmeet Rehal

Working class, fat, trans, and Disabled, Sikh-Panjabi artist, justice-rooted work in illustration, collage, and textiles.

Jadyn Hardie Bardy

Queer Mohawk-Jamaican poet and youth advocate blending storytelling, cultural healing, and lived experience into art and action.

Jasmine Vanstone

Jamaican-Canadian artist using collage, murals, and crafts to explore identity and amplify marginalized voices in North York.

Kseniya Tsoy

Award-winning muralist creating joyful, community-led artwork with bold colours and playful, inclusive designs.

Mabinty Sylla

Guinean dancer and choreographer with Okavango Orchestra, teaching West African dance in schools, communities, and private workshops.

Maureen DaSilva

Printmaker and art educator based in Toronto/Tkaronto, Maureen works in screenprint, relief, and alternative processes. She co-founded The inPrint Collective and creates community programming across the GTA. @maureen_dasilva

Micah Chu

Micah is a queer Chinese-Indigenous artist and arts educator focused on joy, self-expression, and community care. They’ve led visual arts programs with VIBE Arts, JAYU, Story Planet and more.

Monique Bergeron

Multidisciplinary educator blending dance, drama, and curriculum-based learning for students K–6. Monique also teaches sewing and textile upcycling to learners of all ages.

Nicholas Ridiculous

A multi-disciplinary artist and dynamic storyteller blending surrealism, fashion, and fine art. Nicholas creates immersive worlds and bold visual works that merge the real and fantastical.

Óvase

Multidisciplinary artist using vibrant abstract realism to spotlight underrepresented identities. Through tactile, interactive art, Óvase invites audiences to see and feel today’s most pressing social truths.

Richard Best

Richard Best has led African drumming workshops across the GTA since the early 2000s. He’s collaborated with award-winning Indigenous musician David R. Maracle and composed music for three acclaimed documentaries by Jeanette Kong.

Rowell Soller

Scarborough-born Filipino-Canadian artist known for “Ancient Graffuturism”—a signature fusion of graffiti, manga, calligraphy, and Filipino symbolism. His murals and paintings appear across the globe.

Shamiso Chigwende

Zimbabwean-Canadian visual artist whose work spans illustration, sculpture, and animation. With a spirit of curiosity and awe, she explores the divine, the personal, and the beautifully weird.

Silvie Stojanovski

Mixed media artist, educator, and environmentalist whose community-rooted work imagines sustainable futures. She is the founder of Scabrite, a collective mobilizing art for social change.@Sylvietheartist

Vicky Wang
