Lots of Zen: Summer Yoga Series Launch

Choice Properties invited members of the community to the launch of our Lots of Zen FREE Summer yoga Series—an initiative designed to promote wellness, foster connection, and activate shared public space in Bradford.

Taking place on Sunday, May 31 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this family-friendly event brought together residents, local businesses, and wellness practitioners for a morning of movement, relaxation, and community engagement.

Event Overview

The May 31st launch event offered a curated mix of structured programming and informal experiences, creating an inclusive environment for participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Launch Event Featured Programming:

• Pre-Registered Yoga Class (9:30 – 10:15 AM)
  Led by Breathe Hot Yoga Bradford, this session was hosted for 20 participants in a guided outdoor class. Attendees arrived between 9:00 – 9:15 AM for check-in.
  Participants also received a complimentary post-class smoothie and yoga-themed giveaways.
• Mini Vendor Market
  A selection of local Bradford businesses showcased wellness-focused products, including apparel, jewelry, tea, and skincare.
• Drop-In Wellness Experiences
  • Yoga pose workshops
  • Personal training consultations
  • Scalp and hand massage offerings
• Family-Friendly Activities
  For people who did not do yoga we had other family-friendly activities like lawn games and casual programming designed to encourage participation across all age groups.

Ongoing Summer Series

This launch event marked the beginning of our weekly Lots of Zen Summer yoga Series, which takes place every Sunday at 9:30 AM through until August 23rd. The series aims to provide consistent, accessible opportunities for community members to engage in health and wellness activities in an open, welcoming setting.

After the May 31 launch event, programming transitioned to yoga-only sessions, without the vendor market, lawn games, or additional activities.
