Choice Properties is proud to host an exhibition as part of the CONTACT Photography Festival at 650 Dupont Street. Founded in 1997, the CONTACT Photography Festival is an annual, city-wide celebration of lens-based art that takes place every May across Toronto.
The Festival’s Core Program features exhibitions and public programs presented in partnership with leading museums, galleries and artist-run centres throughout the GTA and beyond. Through powerful visual storytelling and diverse artistic perspectives, CONTACT invites audiences to engage with contemporary photography in meaningful and accessible ways.

About the artist
Artist: Yann Pocreau (b. 1980, Quebec City, Canada)
Curator: Tara Smith, CONTACT Photography Festival
Montreal-based artist Yann Pocreau works across photography, sculpture, and installation. Inspired by 35mm slides and by light and colour, his work reimagines found images through interventions that probe photography’s complex connections to memory, time, and place. For this large-scale, street-level, outdoor mural in Toronto, Pocreau has created a new photomontage that calls into question photography’s role in how we understand and situate ourselves within the natural world.
