Weston<\/span> will be stepping down as Chairman of Choice Properties\u2019 Board of Trustees at the Trust\u2019s Annual Meeting of Unitholders (\u00ab\u00a0Annual Meeting\u00a0\u00bb) to be held on <span class=\"xn-chron\">Tuesday, April 25<\/span>, 2017.  As part of the transition plan, the Board of Trustees intends to appoint Mr. <span class=\"xn-person\">Anthony Graham<\/span> as Chairman following the Annual Meeting.  <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-person\">Galen G. Weston<\/span> has served as Chairman of Choice Properties\u2019 Board since the Trust\u2019s initial public offering (\u00ab\u00a0IPO\u00a0\u00bb) in 2013.  Mr. Weston will continue in his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (\u00ab\u00a0CEO\u00a0\u00bb) of George Weston Limited and Loblaw Companies Limited. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-person\">Anthony R. Graham<\/span> will stand for election at the Trust\u2019s upcoming Annual Meeting.  If elected, the Board intends to appoint Mr. Graham as Chairman following the meeting.  Mr. Graham is currently Vice Chairman of Wittington Investments, Limited, the controlling shareholder of <span class=\"xn-person\">George Weston<\/span>.
