Why Duel-Fuel Rooftop Units?
Dual fuel roof top heating units (RTUs), also known as hybrid RTUs, are space heating and cooling systems that intelligently switch between high-efficiency heat pump and a natural gas burner, based on outdoor temperature, to optimize energy use and comfort. These systems can work separately, with most heating provided by the heat pump or, in combination under colder operating conditions, with supplementary heat provided by gas combustion.
